Back Story
Fathers-in-law are bonus fathers. I have been very lucky to have a father-in-law who is loving, kindhearted, and funny. My father-in-law is a very organized, meticulous, man who loves making puns and has a tremendous work ethic. Walking every day is part of his daily regimen. As he became older and had difficulty walking by himself, my husband got him a walking stick to support his walking habit. He tried it out on a couple of trips along the length of the living room and declared it was comfortable to use. Most important for us, it gave him the mental confidence to walk and he has been using it every day since then.
